Well, I have seen “them all” including Michael Jackson, Rolling Stones, U2, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen etc., but for me this is without a doubt THE MOST FANTASTIC CONCERT of my life: The Lovesexy tour of Prince at the National Stadium in Copenhagen, August 1988, which I saw together with my good, old friend, John Kjær – do you remember, Fuggi?
This concert film is from Dortmund, September 1988, and what you cannot see and hear from the film is the fine summer weather, amazing sound, and best atmosphere/”vibe” including a VERY HAPPY audience partying, dancing and enjoying themselves as I have NEVER seen at any concert before, and it was really the combination of all of this that made this a total second to none experience as none other before or after.
We received everything you can imagine for both eyes and ears with Prince in his best form playing and entertaining the audience as NO ONE but him can do, and he had the best band with him including Sheila E. and Cat as many will remember.
Some may find the first half of the concert “uninteresting” because you don’t know all songs, and in this case, I can only recommend you to go directly to the last half of the show to experience one amazing highlight after the other.
In my mind, NO ONE has the same combined and unique gift as Prince when it comes to personal charisma and energy (including his smile and look in the eye), musical creativity and skills as a song writer and performer including the sheer beauty when he plays the guitar better, stronger, quicker and more effortless than any other I know of and also creates the best party in the world including his fine singing, dancing and interaction with the band and audience.
Other top musicians may have one or more of these skills, but I can think of none other than Prince having all skills at the same time, which in this sense makes him no. one on my list of the most talented musicians ever.
This CANNOT be done any better, and “guitar” is my symbol of creation, so this is what this the best ever concert means to me: We have created the absolutely finest New World, which CANNOT be done any better. This is what Prince and this concert symbolises to me.
This concert is the ultimate symbol of creation and celebration of our New World. I just look forward to this concert being published in its very best quality.

LOVESEXY TOUR:
Although the tour was a huge success in terms of reviews and audience numbers (most shows were sellouts), it lost money due to the high production costs incurred with transportation, only breaking even by its final leg in Japan in early 1989. Prince used a number of elaborate props on the moving, multi-tiered stage such as a basketball hoop, a fountain, trellis fences and a full-scale replica of his Ford Thunderbird automobile.
The two-hour show included most songs from the Lovesexy album, alongside well-known hits and rarer material. In usual Prince fashion, many shows saw the premiere of entirely new songs, particularly "Blues in C (If I Had a Harem)".
Thematically, the show was divided into two very distinct main acts with the themes of light and dark. Act One, which ran for an hour, consisted mainly of older material from Prince's earlier albums, often strung together into medley form to ease time constraints. The show often began with "Escape" before segueing into "Erotic City" and concluded with "Anna Stesia". Act Two consisted largely of songs from Lovesexy, plus classic hits like "Kiss" and towards the end of the concert, "Let's Go Crazy", "Purple Rain", and "1999". The highlight of many shows was the piano medley in the second act, often featuring "When 2 R in Love", "Venus de Milo", "Starfish and Coffee", "Raspberry Beret", and "Condition of the Heart".

VIDEO 2 - PRINCE ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, NOVEMBER 1, 2014:
Rolling Stone review: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/watch-princes-incredible-eight-minute-snl-medley-20141102.
The last time Prince had eight uninterrupted minutes on national television, he was performing at the Super Bowl XLI halftime show in 2007. While that gig featured greatest hits like "1999," "Purple Rain" and Let's Go Crazy," Prince's Saturday Night Live set featured tracks that were likely unknown to most viewers. It didn't matter: Prince, his backing band 3rdEyeGirl and guest vocalist Lianne La Havas still delivered one of the most explosive and most polished SNL musical spots anyone has witnessed since perhaps when Chris Rock, the guest host, was still an SNL featured player.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you are so lucky tonight," Rock told the audience during his introduction for Prince, and the comedian was right. The opening moments of the performance mirrored the cover of his new album Art Official Age with Prince and his three-lensed sunglasses stationed in front of a blue sky. For the first track in his SNL medley, Prince and La Havas duet on that album's bouncy "Clouds."
"Maybe we're better off in space…," La Havas sang while Prince grabbed his six-string, the perfect segue into the guitar freak-out "Marz" off his and 3rdEyeGirl's other new LP Plectrumelectrum..
For the final cut in the medley, Prince slowed things down briefly for the Plectrumelectrum rocker "Anotherlove," which gave Prince another opportunity to showcase those guitar god skills that landed him on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists. Prince's unprecedented eight-minute SNL set still felt too short as most viewers were probably wishing the Purple Rain singer would perform an encore instead of kicking it over to Weekend Update.
"CLOUDS": "We'll get to something higher that doesn't require clouds".
“ANOTHER LOVE”: "I'm the greatest living soul, U'll ever know".
